Rachel joined us in 2002, bringing to the team 30 years’ of consulting experience.

She describes herself as someone who helps clarify what needs to be done, plans how to do it, and then…’gets things done!’ With particular expertise in change management, programme & project management, operational improvement and organisation design, Rachel’s great overall strength is helping cross-functional teams to deliver extraordinary results, working with everyone from directors to the frontline.

She has an outstanding track record in making this happen across a wide range of industries including Financial Services, Transport, Utilities, Public Sector, Oil and Gas, and Manufacturing. Her previous experience includes a significant spell at Gemini Consulting, where she was a member of the Operations discipline, as well as time at KPMG and Coopers & Lybrand.

Before joining us, Rachel’s many successful projects included helping a leading UK water utilities company to transform their asset creation and supply chain organisations, supporting a rail infrastructure programme to develop and embed common practices, and enabling a nuclear decommissioning programme to achieve best practice by developing and implementing nine supporting strategies.

Rachel holds an MA in Systems in Management from the University of Lancaster and a BSc (Hons) & Diploma of Industrial Studies in Materials Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology. She is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Rachel lives with her husband in Perth – ideally located for their many weekends walking in the Highlands.
