Strategy Implementation
Egremont is known as one of the leading strategy implemenation consultancies and has a reputation built on the outstanding success of our work in this area (see case studies for examples).
Our success is driven by our use of balanced scorecards and hothousing at the core of our project design. Hothousing is a fast-paced method of delivering quick sales and profit growth from any part of an organisation that can be ring-fenced while the team experiments. The theory behind it is that work groups, if they can let go of the ways of the past, can simulate a much higher performing way of working for a few weeks and thereby prove the case for change. To do this they need to be left alone to experiment, measure their current performance, receive some training in new change and management skills and then work on the big opportunities for performace improvement. They can do whatever they need to get the result, within reason. The real and measured performance improvement, visible on the scorecards then creates the business case for rolling out the new ways of working.
Our work in this area is closely linked to our work in change management and innovation.
