Scratch the surface of any major business and you very quickly get to the IT capability. In today's world of round the clock availability, service and competitive benchmarking on cost are an absolute given. The CIO, their team, their department and partners are judged on their ability to manage change successfully. The press is dominated by stories of project delays and cancellations, massive budget overruns and embarrassing under delivery. The vital questions today are exactly the same as they were 20 years ago: "How do you make successful change?" and more importantly "How do you make the change stick?"
