Change Management
Change management is at the heart of what we do and the results are impressive - average project payback is 11:1. Central to our success is our ability to bring people with us, involving them in the analysis, solution design and implementation and leaving them with the new skills and ways of working which sustain change.
We use a technique called hothousing, now adopted by many organisations as the fastest and most effective way to introduce change in a way that engages rather than alienates employees. Hothousing is a fast-paced method of delivering quick sales and profit growth from any part of an organisation that can be ring-fenced while the team experiments. The theory behind it is that work groups, if they can let go of the ways of the past, can simulate a much higher performing way of working for a few weeks and thereby prove the case for change. To do this they need to be left alone to experiment, measure their current performance, receive some training in new change and management skills and then work on the big opportunities for performance improvement. They can do whatever they need to get the result, within reason. The real and measured performance improvement, visible on the scorecards then creates the business case for rolling out the new ways of working.
